Carmelo J. Palumbo, 86; Beloved husband and best friend of Janet nee Gentile; Devoted father of Michael L. (Nadezda); Loving grandfather of Michael C. and Matthew; Dear brother of Marino (the late JoAnne) and Charles R. Palumbo, Rose Mary (Donald) Dryjanski, Mary Ann (James) Lane, the late Augustina (the late Robert) Mikos and brother-in-law of Michael (Donna) Gentile; Fond uncle, cousin and friend to many. Carmie was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Visitation Monday Jan. 16th from 3:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Funeral service begins Tuesday at 8:45 a.m. at the funeral home proceeding to Our Lady of Victory Church for 10:00 a.m. Mass. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
