Carmella Mistretta

Carmella Mistretta, age 91, at rest on February 19, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Mistretta. Loving mother of Edward (Susan) and Ricky (Michelle). Dearest grandmother of Joseph (Juliette), Jess (James) Vestuto, Anthony (Chelsea), Ali and Jack. Cherished great grandmother of Isla Vestuto and Millicent Mistretta. Preceeded in death by her siblings, Mary, Vince, John, Rose, Toni, Sam and Eugene. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation for Carmella will take place on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. 60706. The funeral will then proceed to St. Eugene Church (Queen of Peace Parish) for 11:30 am Mass. Entombment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery at the Christ the King Mausoleum in Hillside, Il. In lieu of flowers or plants Carmella wishes donations be made to either of the following charities 1) Get Behind the Vest ℅ Chicago Police Memorial Foundation 1407 W Washington Blvd. Chicago, IL 60607, or 2) Archdiocese of Chicago Annual Catholic Appeal 835 North Rush Street Chicago, IL 60611-2030 in her name.
