Carmela Lauricella, nee Tamburello, age 83, passed away on July 10, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Carmela was the beloved wife of the late Gerlando; loving mother of Maria G. (the late Joseph) Signa and Joseph (Mary) Lauricella; dearest daughter of the late Francesca and Giuseppe Tamburello; cherished grandmother of Anthony and Fabrizio Signa, Jerry and Alex Lauricella; dear sister of Angela (Gaspare) LoMascolo, Giacomo (Anna), Vincenzo (Rosina), Gregory (Francesca) and Tony (Nancy) Tamburello, Maria (Antonio) LaFata, Steve (Diana) and the late Gerlando (Francesca) Tamburello; fond aunt of many. Visitation Thursday, July 14, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, at the funeral home, and then proceed to Saint Rosalie Catholic Church in Harwood Heights for Mass at 10:00 a.m. The Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum in Des Plaines, IL.
