Brian Chakires

Brian Daniel Chakires, born December 20, 1991, peacefully passed away at the age of 33 on April 10, 2025, surrounded by his loving family and friends.  Brian was the beloved son of Mary nee Lyons (Pete Asuras); dear brother of Matthew Chakires; long-time partner of Erin Slaski; cherished grandson of Dan and Kay Lyons; loving nephew of the late Danny Lyons, Peggy and Tim Pletcher, and Kevin and Julie Lyons; dear stepbrother and cousin of Alyssa and Nick (Anette) Asuras, Colleen (Jack), and Kristen Pletcher, Kelly and Connor Lyons; dear cousin, nephew, and friend to many.  Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge.  Info:  708-456-8300
