Bozena "Bonnie" Bielat

Bożena “Bonnie” Bielat (née Pieczko), age 61, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 8, 2026.

Bonnie was born in Poland on December 28, 1964, to the late Kazimierz and the late Leokadia Pieczko. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished sister and aunt whose warmth, kindness, and dedication to her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Bonnie is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Marek Bielat. She was the loving mother of Eric (Kristen) and Jason Bielat (Gabby Foster). Cherished grandmother of Karina and Hallie. She was the dearest sister of Mariola (the late Stanislaw) and Andy (Deanna) Pieczko, and the fond aunt of Christopher (Joanna) Lopuski and Nick Pieczko and great aunt of Sloane Nolan and Landon Lopuski.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, Illinois. Funeral services will begin Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will proceed to St. Monica Church for an 11:00 a.m. Mass. Interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles, Illinois.

Bonnie’s love for her family and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
