Bobby D. Sloan, age 83, United States Air Force Veteran, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2021. Bobby was the beloved husband of the late Glenda Fay, nee Smith; loving father of Bobby Dale (Beth) Greene, Robert Scott (Chris) and Mark Allen (Dena) Sloan, Melanie (Steve) Schaeve, Bridget Heart and Robert Tucknott; cherished grandfather of Marco, Mika, Jenny (Nagil) Diaz, Clifford (Evelyn) Heart, Tyler (Issa) Vance-Hale, Steven Tucknott and Michael (Crystal) Tucknott, Samantha, Robert and Maggie; and Great Grandfather of Ivy, Daniel, Harley and Jenina; dear brother of Billy (Zita) Sloan , Doris (Dobbs) Davis , Loretta (Jack) Greenlee, Mary LaeElla (Paul) Peters, Ed Wilson, Donnie (Janie) Wilson and Norma Jean (August) Brewer; Fond Uncle of many. Visitation Monday, April 12, 2021, from 9:00 am until an 11:00 am Funeral Service at Cumberland Chapels 8300 West Lawrence Norridge, IL. The interment with Military Honors will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. Due to the current health guidelines, we are limited to 50 attendees at a time. Please wear masks and practice proper social distancing. Until further notice, the coffee room is not available for use. Please refrain from bringing food or beverage into the funeral home.
