Betty Miller

Betty Jane Miller (nee VanWiele), 90, of Elmwood Park, IL, passed away November 17, 2016. Loving wife of the late Andrew J. Miller, Sr. Loving mother of Andrew J. (Roxanne) Miller, Jr., James (Carol) Miller, Christine (Robert) Matlock, and Edward (Debra) Miller; grandmother of Stephanie, Shannon, Holly, Edward, Wendy, Jennifer, James, Michelle, Christopher, Amanda, Catherine, Patricia, Andrew and Michael; great-grandmother of 14; aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, Joseph and Irene (nee Kolski) VanWiele; sisters, Violet and Joanne; and granddaughter, Karen. Born June 7, 1926, in Chicago. Neighborhood Mom to many, volunteer at church and schools, creator of countless afghans for family and friends. Visitation Tuesday, Nov. 22 from 3 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 23 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service 11 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Interment at Mt.
