Bernedette (“Babe”) Nakis, nee Milazzo, age 92 of Chicago, IL peacefully passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024. Beloved wife of the late James Nakis; loving mother of Dominic (Kathleen) and Mary Mann; devoted grandmother of Jim (Elizabeth) Nakis, Julie Nakis, Michael Mann, Stephanie (Tom) Kujawa and Christopher (Brittany) Mann; great grandmother to Dominic and Cecelia Nakis, Avery and Ophelia Kujawa and Brielle, Gianella and Nelliana Mann. Bernedette was the fond daughter of the late Dominick and late Cecelia (nee Ciaccio) Milazzo; dear sister of the late Sam, the late Mary (late Frank) Gibson, late Rosalie (late Fred) Harder, and the late Virginia (late Edward) Wattawa. Dear Aunt and sister-in-law to many.
Visitation Saturday, August 3, 2024, 10:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m. at The Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii, 1224 West Lexington Street, Chicago, Illinois.
