Bernadette Pryor, nee Slowik, 89, passed away November 24, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Harry Z. Pryor. Loving mother of Donna (Edward) Dernulc, Mark (Gina) Pryor, and the late Karen Pryor. Cherished grandmother of Anthony (Felicia), Jenna, Markie, Jillian, and Drew. Blessed great grandmother of Elliana and Aria. Fond aunt of Gregg (Faye) Blaszak and Rick (Chris) Blaszak, and many other nieces and nephews.
Bernadette grew up in Humbolt Park where she met and married Harry in 1957. They moved to Harwood Heights where Harry was a village trustee, and enjoyed many political friendships, events, and trips. She will be greatly missed but we are joyful in her reunion with her husband Harry and her daughter Karen, who we lost 35 years ago. Visitation will be Friday, December 1, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Funeral services will begin on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home, then proceed to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Chicago, for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
