Benito Chiappetta, age 89, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2024. Benito was the beloved husband of the late Franca, nee Covello; loving father of Mary (Tom) Koval, Joann (Dan) Baumgardner and Antonella (Nick) Campana; dearest son of the late Maria Rosaria, nee Baratta, and the late Angelo Chiappetta; cherished grandfather of Tony (Damon), Sabrina (Andrew), Hailey, Matt, Ben, Alex (Karla) and Ariana (Michael), and great grandfather of Layla and Milani; dearest brother of Salvatore, Ida, Filomena, Giuseppe, Leopoldo; fond uncle of many.

Visitation and Mass will be open to family and friends on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. We will then proceed to St. Francis Borgia Roman Catholic Church, 8033 W. Addison St, Chicago, for Mass at 12:00 p.m. As per family wishes, there will be a private entombment at All Saints Mausoleum in Des Plaines for the immediate family only.
