Barbara Joyce Ori (nee Turner), age 84, of Wheeling, Illinois at rest December 5, 2021.
Loving wife of the late Elisio Ori. Beloved mother of David (Jennifer) Anthony, Kathryn (Darrick) Bean, Barbara Anthony, Lori (Anthony) Caruso and Michael (Verna) Anthony. Stepmother of Lydia (Joseph) Camasta. Grandmother of David, Richard, Andrea, Valerie, Brian, Eric (Val), Tom, Jessica, Robert, Jennifer, Katie, Kim, Joe, Jeanie, Meghan (Oscar), Julia, Jason, Anthony, and Michael. Great Grandmother of Zoie, Zach, Alex, Emma, Charlie, Benny, Bridget, Jonathan (Sarah), Janelle, Taylor, Liam and Isabella. Great-Great Grandmother of Bellamy. Dear sister of Linda Pasternack. Fond aunt to many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Barbara was also preceded in death by her parents and stepfather, Gilbert Turner and Iva and Samuel LoPinto, brothers James Turner and Norman Turner, sisters Janice Turner and Margaret Bullard, brother-in-law Bill Pasternack, sister-in-law Stephanie Turner and adoring friend Lynne Curry.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 West Lawrence Avenue, Norridge, Illinois. Funeral Friday, December 10, 2021 beginning at Cumberland Chapels at 10:30am. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery, Chicago, Illinois.
Expressions of sympathy in the form of donations to Addolorata Villa/Franciscan Communities and Lewy Body Dementia Association are welcome.
