Barbara Kalasa

Barbara Kalasa, nee Osowski, age 84, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2021 with her daughters by her side. Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Edward; loving mother of Kathleen (Brian) Sauerland and Susan (Steve) Hermann; dearest daughter of the late Virginia and Harry Osowski; cherished glitzy gramma of Luke Sauerland, Paige Hermann, Danielle Sauerland and Ryan Hermann; loving cousin of John (Patricia) Andres, Joanne (Thomas) Lockwood, Mary K. and the late James Andres. Barbara worked at Rosemont Health and Fitness for many years, and she was a friend to all who knew her. She was a member of the Windy City 56ers and the Rosemont Senior Club. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association would be appreciated. Visitation Saturday, November 27, 2021, from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. We will then proceed to Our Lady of Hope Church in Rosemont for Mass at 11:30 a.m. and the interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
