Barbara E. Czernia (nee Gerald), age 71, at rest on February 22, 2021. beloved wife of the late Paul L. Czernia. Loving mother of Carrie (Todd) Settepani. Beloved daughter of the late Irving and the late Rae (nee Osgood) Gerald. Devoted grandmother of Paige Loquercio and great grandmother of Jaydian Loquercio. Dear sister of Brian (Lou-Ann) Gerald and David (Camille) Gerald. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday February 25th, 2021 from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 10:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge. Interment will follow at Acacia Park Cemetery in Chicago.

Due to the current health guidelines, we are limited to 50 attendees at a time. We kindly ask that you quickly exit the funeral home after paying your respects to the family so that all visitors have an opportunity to enter. Please wear masks and practice proper social distancing. Until further notice, the coffee room is not available for use. Please refrain from bringing food or beverage into the funeral home.
