Barbara Chiodo

Barbara L. "Bobbi" Chiodo, nee Lavorata, age 82, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on May 29, 2022. Bobbi was the beloved wife of the late Anthony T. Chiodo, Jr.; loving mother of John (Kenarr), Michael, Christopher (Grace) and the late Anthony III (Karen) Chiodo; dearest daughter of the late Lillian and John Lavorata; cherished grandmother of Alexandria, Anthony IV, Kathryn and Francesca; dear sister of Nancy Lavorata; fond aunt of many. Barbara was a member of Les Clefs d'Or, The National Organization of Hotel Lobby Concierges, and was awarded North America's Concierge of the Year in 2013 by the Intercontinental Hotel Group. This award was a great source of pride to Barbara and her family as it is presented to only one person in North America. Visitation Thursday, June 2, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, at the funeral home, and then proceed to St. Giles Catholic Church in Oak Park for Mass at 11:00 a.m. The entombment will follow at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum in Hillside.
