Arthur O'Koniewski

Arthur J. 'Arty' O'Koniewski, age 74, passed away on February 16, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Arty was the beloved husband of Jacqueline 'Jackie', nee Wojcik, for 46 wonderful years; loving father of Michael (Karen), Dan (Winona) and Tim (Laura Russ) O'Koniewski; dearest son of the late Winifred and Arthur O'Koniewski; cherished grandfather of Bryan and Kevin O'Koniewski; dear brother of Lynn and Bob (Judy) Okoniewski; fond uncle of many. Arty was a retired Registered Pharmacist and had worked for Walgreens for over 20 years. He was an Assistant Scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association. Visitation Friday from 3:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral Services will begin at 9:00a.m. Saturday, at the funeral home, and will then proceed to Immaculate Conception Church for Mass 10:00a.m. Interment to follow at Maryhill Cemetery.
