Antonino Pellitteri, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at the age of 79. A long-time resident of Chicago, Illinois, Antonino's life was defined by his unwavering dedication to family, work, and community.
Born on May 25, 1946, Antonino found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly the time spent with his family. He was the beloved husband of Rosalia (née Butera), with whom he shared a remarkable 55-year marriage full of love and mutual respect. Together, they nurtured a beautiful family, including their son Vito, and daughter-in-law Cecilia.
Antonino's greatest pride was his grandchildren, Julia (Adam) Valdez, Daniella, and Antonino "Nino." He treasured every moment with them, leaving behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and cherished family traditions.
He was the dear brother to Gaspare (Maria) Pellitteri and Rosalia Pellitteri, brother-in-law of Gina Pellitteri. and a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Antonio was preceded in death by his parents, Vito and Giuseppa Pellitteri, whose memory he honored throughout his life. Also preceded in death by his Siblings Vito Pellitteri and Andrea Pellitteri
Antonino dedicated 44 years of service to Marconi Foods, where he became a respected and admired colleague. He took great satisfaction in his work and built lasting friendships with many.

Visitation for Antonino will take place on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Cumberland Chapels. Funeral Friday, beginning at the funeral home at 9:00 am and then proceed to St. Francis Borgia Church in Chicago for 10:00 am Mass. Entombment will follow at the Mary Mother of God Mausoleum at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, Il.
Antonino's warmth, kindness, and enduring faith have left an indelible mark on all who knew him. His memory will continue to be a source of inspiration and love for those he leaves behind.
