Peacefully and surrounded by her family, Antonia Zepeda Lomeli passed away on January 11, 2021 at the age of 79 years old.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years, Trinidad; children: Teresa, Javier (Patricia), Eva (Eleuterio), Rosa (Felipe), Sandra and Trinidad Jr (Jacquline); grandchildren: Francisco, Carlos, Isela, Melissa, Jaime, Isabel, Ivan, Brooklynn, Luis, Alex, Emily, Nicole, Nayeli, Samantha; brother, Manuel (Gloria) and sister Maria; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her beloved parents: Jose Guadalupe Lomeli and Maria Quezada Lomeli.
Antonia loved being surrounded by her family and received everyone with nothing but love and a good sense of humor. Born in Aguascalientes, Antonia selflessly emigrated from Mexico and established roots in Chicago. Antonia was proud of her beautiful family that continues to cherish her legacy that through faith in God all things are possible.
A Visitation / Prayer Service will be held from 3pm-8pm, on Thursday January 14, 2021, at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W Lawrence Avenue Norridge, Illinois 60706
Due to the current health guidelines, we are limited to 10 attendees at a time. We kindly ask that you quickly exit the funeral home after paying your respects to the family so that all visitors have an opportunity to enter. Please wear masks and practice proper social distancing. Until further notice, the coffee room is not available for use. Please refrain from bringing food or beverage into the funeral home.
