Antoinette “Auntie Toni” Tufano. Age 99 at rest March 18, 2014. Daughter of the late Domenico & Maria nee Messia. Sister of the late Michael (Josie) Tufano, Theresa (Joseph) DiBuono, Christopher (Sue) Tufano, Joseph (Ann) Tufano, Rose (James) Alesia, and Salvatore (Marie) DiBuono.. Loving aunt of Anna Marie DiBuono. Great aunt of Teresa (Raymond) Hall, JoAnn DiBuono, Joseph (Tracey) DiBuono. Great-great aunt of Disa & Darci DiBuono and Salvatore Hall. Auntie Toni was known by all as a fixture in the old neighborhood of Aberdeen Street and Vernon Park. She was an original baker in the Tufano’s Bakery which was known for their pizza and bread during the depression years. She also was a huge contributor in the legacy of Tufano’s Vernon Park Restaurant and was widely known for her famous raviolis. She will be truly missed by all of the generations that knew & loved her. Services private.
