Anthony Morgese

September 3, 1957 — September 25, 2024

Anthony Dominic Morgese, age 67, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Tony was the beloved husband of Melissa L., nee Rodde,  loving father of Lauren (Jay) Fontanetta and Lindsay (Kyle) Bocka; cherished grandfather of Benjamin Bocka; dearest son of the late Dolores and Anthony Morgese, Sr., and son in law of Robert and Linda Rodde; dear brother of Michelle (Rich) Barone and the late Beverly and Eustace "Stacey" Morgese, and brother in law of  Amy Rodde; fond uncle of Landon Boley. Tony was a nephew, cousin, and friend of many.

Tony lived a life filled with passion for music, sports, and family.

A lifelong fan of the Beatles, Tony cherished their music and often shared his favorite songs with loved ones. He fulfilled his dream of visiting Liverpool and London on his honeymoon. This brought him immense joy as he immersed himself in the band's history. Music, in general, was a cornerstone of his life; he found beauty in every note and used it to connect with others. In his music loving honor please wear something music related or your favorite bands t-shirt.

Tony was also a supporter of Chicago sports teams. Whether cheering for the Cubs, Blackhawks, Bears, or Bulls, he brought unmatched enthusiasm to every game.

Tony’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Tony was truly one of a kind, and he will be deeply missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network to pancan.org would be appreciated.
