Anthony "Tony" C. Matero, age 79 at rest suddenly on April 21, 2023. Beloved son of the late Ann DiMaria and step son of the late Joe DiMaria. Dear brother of Mary (Kenneth) Buckley, Frank (Jackie) Di Maria and the late Donna Tolotti and the late Joseph DiMaria and the late Angelo (Cat) Di Maria. Uncle Pumpkin to many nieces and nephews. Devoted public servant for the Cook County Recorder of Deeds and active parishioner of St. Ita Church in Chicago. Visitation will take place on Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. Funeral Monday, beginning at the funeral home at 9:30 am and will then proceed to St. Ita Church in Chicago for 11:00 am Mass. Interment will be private.
