Anthony Dunovsky

Anthony "Tony" Dunovsky age 54, at rest suddenly on December 26, 2024. Anthony was born in Chicago Illinois on January 8, 1970 and resided on the far northwest side of Chicago. Tony was a Dedicated Ironworker to Local 1 & brotherhood of ironworkers. The Magnificient Chicago Skyline wouldn't be possible without the dedication and hard work Tony and his fellow Ironworkers put in everyday, building some of the tallest skyscrapers in the nation. Tony was the Loving and Adoring Husband to Sharon Girten; cherished Son to Linda Gebhardt; Loving Son-in-law to Shirley Girten;  Devoted Father of Alexis Cabot; Loving Grandpa to Jaxon, Alaya, and Brayden Cabot and Loving Brother to Patrick Dunovsky. Tony was preceded in death by sisters Jessy & Lacey Dunvosky. Tony is also the Beloved Brother-in-law to Linda Girten & Steve Girten; Fun-loving Uncle to Matthew (Amanda) Podgorski , & Aimee (Sean) Lagerstrom and great uncle to Sutton Lagerstrom.  Beloved cousin to many and Dog Daddy to Angel & Zoey. Tony leaves behind many cherished friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Cremation will take place and a memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a memorial service at 6:30 pm at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. Please feel free to dress in attire that would represent Tony.
