Annina Neri nee Pontarelli, age 100, passed away peacefully November 3rd, 2023. Annina was the beloved wife of 39 years to the late Silvio Neri; loving mother of Tony Neri, Anne Neri (Lewis) Kostiner and the late Johnny Neri; beloved daughter of the late Silvio Pontarelli and Amalia Grieco; fond grandmother of Leeanne Sara (Michael) Mancari , Molly Ann (Eric) Neri Wendlandt, Rickie Lill ( Mitch) Kostiner, and Tess Ann (Matt) Kostiner ; great grandmother of Siena Marie Mancari, Adeline Rae Osborne, and Quinn Kostiner Groch; dear sister of Gina Pontarelli DiPaolo; fond aunt of Angelo DiPaolo, Antoinette Vattovaz, Sal DiPaolo and Tullio DiPaolo.

Visitation will take place Wednesday, November 8, at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge IL, from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral will be held the following day Thursday November 9, starting at the funeral home at 9:00 am, then proceeding to St. Mary of the Woods Church for a 10:00 am Mass, entombment to follow at All Saints Mausoleum in Des Plaines.
