Anna Haliw, age 87, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. Anna was the beloved wife of the late Orest; loving mother of Daria (John), Taras (Vicky) and Oksana (Jima); cherished grandmother of Markie, Christian, Kolya, Kalyna (Myles) Julianna and Ivana; dearest sister of Stephen Bodnar, Olga Borden-Schoonover and the late Wasyl Bodnar, Mary Hrynewycz and Irene Olson.
Visitation Wednesday, February 26, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. (Panachyda Service 6:30 p.m.) at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home, and we will proceed to St. Joseph the betrothed Ukrainian Catholic Church for a Service at 10:30 a.m. All Services will conclude after church, and the interment will be private at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
