Anna Cannello

Mrs. Anna Cannello age 96 of Salem, IN, passed away Saturday, August 12 at Meadow View Health Care and Rehab. Mrs. Cannello was born November 6, 1920 in Capurso, Italy the daughter of Pietro and Rosa Portincasa Vitone. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Anna was preceded in death by her husband: Vito Cannello, daughter: Filomena “Phyllis” Virgilio, two brothers, one sister and her parents. She is survived by her son: Joseph Cannello (Mary) of Salem, IN, a sister: Teresa D’Alessandro of Capurso, Italy, 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation Saturday August 19, from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Followed by a Committal Service at 10:30 a.m. at All Saints Mausoleum.
