Ann Smith

Ann R. Smith, nee Williams, age 83, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2021, with her loving family by her side. Ann was the beloved wife of the late William D.; loving mother of William T. "Tim" (Carin) and Mara L. (Jeff) Jost; dearest daughter of the late Catherine and James Williams; cherished grandmother of Colin, Brendan, Linnea, Shannon and Kathleen; dear sister of the late James M. Williams; best friend of Carole (Ken) Kolconay; fond aunt of many. Ann was an educator and counselor for Chicago Public Schools for over 40 years. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ronald McDonald House at the University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital would be appreciated. Visitation Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home, and then proceed to Mary, Seat of Wisdom Church in Park Ridge for Mass at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL.
