Aniela Smorczewska

Aniela Smorczewska (Kosinska), age 103, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family at home on August 31, 2024. Aniela was the beloved wife of the late Edward; loving mother of Harriet (Stanislaw) Niewiarowski and Lucy Nikolaev; dearest daughter of the late Marianna and Jan Kosinski; cherished babcia of Les (Jowita) Rybaltowski, Diana (Marcin) Dylag, Daniel Niewiarowski, Peter and Mark Nikolaev; great grandmother of Mark, Nicole and Lucas Rybaltowski, Michael and Angelica Dylag and Mila and Marina Nikolaev; dear sister of the late Janina (the late Jan) Smorczewski and the late Kazimierz (Marianna) Kosinski and sister in law of the late Wiktoria (the late Stefan) Wojtkowski. She was a fond aunt of many.



Visitation Friday, September 6, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday , at the funeral home, and will then proceed to St. Rosalie Church in Harwood Heights for Mass at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles.
