Angelo Passialis

Angelo S. Passialis, age 88, passed away peacefully at his home on February 25, 2026 surrounded by family;

Angelo enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He enjoyed gambling, going to Las Vegas twice a year with his beloved wife, Annette. He faithfully served the Village of Schiller Park as a Village Trustee from 2001 to 2013. Prior to his election, he contributed his time and leadership on the Zoning Board and as a Planning Commissioner, helping guide thoughtful development and growth within the community. His commitment to Schiller Park extended well beyond public office. Angelo generously volunteered with the Boy Scouts, the Moose Lodge, and the Sertoma Club, a civic organization devoted to improving lives through service to others.

A much-loved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend to many, his memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him and he will truly be missed.

Angelo is preceded in death by son Michael; parents Socrates and Argiro; siblings George, Jeanne, Arthur and Helen; in-laws Carl and Rose Olson.

Angelo is survived by his loving wife of almost 66 years Annette, nee Olson, father of Carl (Jeanne), Socrates (Christine), Cheryl (James) Wyslak and Rosanne; fond grandfather to Ashley (Andrew) Kremer, Kara, Stephanie (Dan) Schryer, Angelo, Samantha, Jenna, Joseph Wyslak and Erikka Wyslak; dear father-in-law of Jennifer Passialis; fond uncle to many.

Visitation: Friday, March 6, 2026, 3 to 8 pm at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL 60706. 708-456-8300.

Funeral: Saturday, March 7, 2026, with mass at 9:30 a.m. from Holy Virgin Martyrs: Saints Beatrice & Maria Goretti, 4157 Atlantic Avenue, Schiller Park, IL 60176.

Interment: Acacia Park Cemetery, 7800 Irving Park Rd, Norridge, IL 60706.
