Angela Sander

Angela R. Sander nee Zvitkovics age 87, passed away March 30, 2015. Angy overcame a difficult childhood with the love & support of her brother Joe Swick and the Wind family. She married the love of her life, Alex Sander (Cwitkovits) and had six children, raising them in Norridge. She had a lifelong love of learning which she instilled in all of her children. Later in life she earned a Masters Degree and taught for many years at Steinmetz High School in Chicago. Devoted wife of the late Alex Sander; beloved mother of Michael (Vickie) Sander, Carolyn (Rick) Klein, Allan (Claudia), Janet (Bob) Benjamin, Joseph and the late Steven (Lisa); loving grandmother of Ryan, Alex, Lauren, Lindsey, Ellie, Lisa, David, Carly and Katie; dear sister of Joseph (the late Rita) Swick and sister-in-law of Otto (the late Jean) Cwitkovits. Visitation Monday April 6, 4:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL Funeral service begins Tuesday April 7, 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home and will proceed to Divine Savior Church for Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
