Anastasia Bourkas

Anastasia "Tasia" Bourkas (Fitsalou), age 93, passed away on August 30, 2024, with her family at her side. Anastasia was the beloved wife of the late Vasilios "Bill" Bourkas; loving mother of Peter and George Bourkas; dear daughter of the late Kostadina and Giorgios; cherished grandmother of Natassa (Bryan) Wachsman and Billy Bourkas; great grandmother of Declan, Savannah and Giovanni; dearest sister of the late Anthi, Ismini and Voula, and she was a fond aunt of many.



Visitation Friday, September 6, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. We will then proceed to Holy Taxiarhai & St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church in Niles for a Greek Orthodox Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in River Grove, IL.
