Allana Leckie

Allana D. Leckie, nee Maher, age 71, a longtime resident of Chicago, passed away on December 11, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Allana was the beloved wife of Bruce A. for 37 wonderful years; loving mother of Luther (Patty) Justus and Patrecia A. (Mario) Rosito and the late Bonnie Justus; dearest daughter of the late Helen and Donald Maher; cherished grandmother of Brian, Tony, James, Alyana and the late Tiffany; dear sister of Roger Maher and the late Joyce and Patricia and a fond aunt of many. She received a Doctrine of Philosophy in Holistic Medicine- Progressive University Life Church and Masters of Science in Holistic Nutrition-Clayton College Allana was owner of The BETR WAY Homeopathic Medicine, located in Chicago, for over 20 years, she was a beautician, and very involved at Acacia Park Evangelical Lutheran Church as a Sunday school teacher and a member of the choir.
