Alice Jilka

Alice Jilka was born to Edward and Rose Alexa on July 10, 1932 in Chicago. Alice proceeded to eternal life on June 22, 2026.

Alice enjoyed swimming, playing cards, reading and flea markets. She loved spending time with her family.

Her survivors include sister Kay Omelka, brother Pete (Linda) Alexa, son Bruce (Sharon) Jilka, daughter Nancy Kalander, granddaughter Amy (Darrin) Polzin, 2 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward Jilka, brother Greg Alexa, sister Pat Huebner, infant brother Paul, brother- in-law Clarence Kalander and brother-in-law Bob Omelka.

Visitation will be held on Friday July 3, 2026 at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave Norridge, IL 60706 from 9:00 am until the time of the Chapel Service at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery. For more info please call 708-456-8300.
