Alice Allen

Alice M. Allen, nee Ludwig, age 96, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2022. Alice was the beloved wife of the late Chuck; loving mother of Patricia (Buzz) Schwandt, Ruth (Rich) Shemitis, Bill (Janice) Allen and Lorraine (Gary) Schwartz; dear daughter of the late Corena and Edward Ludwig; cherished grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 10. Alice was a resident of the Central Baptist Village in Norridge for over 8 years. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's research hospital at stjude.org or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Visitation Friday, March 11, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home, and proceed to Our Lady, Mother of the Church for Mass at 11:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
