Alfred McGann

Alfred A. McGann, age 66, passed away peacefully at home on May 21, 2026. Alfred was the beloved husband of Marlene A. (nee Romanek) for 41 wonderful years; loving father of Matthew R. McGann; dear son of the late Virginia (nee Roberts) and the late Bernard McGann; dearest brother of Mary McGann, Peggy (the late Casey) Michalski, the late Connie Ballou and the late Ellen McGann, and brother in-law to Gail Fabricius and Judy Sobotka, and he was a fond uncle of Mike, Maryellen, Jacob, Sarah, David, Ashley and Brianna.

Alfred was a sheet metal worker by trade. His family was very important to him. His son Matthew was his pride and joy. He was the life of the party and greatly loved by all. Always ready with a joke or story.

Visitation Friday, May 29, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, at the funeral home. All Services will conclude at the funeral home on Saturday, and the interment will be private.
