Alberto "Albert" Gentile, age 87, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025. Albert was born in Chicago, Il. to the late Vincenzo Gentile and the late Olympia (nee Mirbella) and was a proud Veteran in the United States Army. Albert was preceeded in death by his beloved wife LaVinia (nee Falco). He is the loving father of Marguerite (William) Mussared, James (Lisa), and Albert Jr. Cherished Grandfather of Kathleen Mussared, Mallorie (Alex) Dye, Nicholas Gentile, Miranda (Mike) Monachos and Angelia Gentile. Great Grandfather of Nora, Colton and Owen. Dear brother of Tony (Judy) Gentile and the late Fran, Frank, Mary, Norma and Santo. Fond uncle, cousin and friend to many. Visitation for Albert will take place on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. Funeral Thursday, beginning at the funeral home at 9:00 am and proceed to Queen of Peace Parish at St. Eugene Church for 10:00 am Mass. Interment and Military Honors will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Il.
