Albert was a strong, stubborn man who served his country honorably. He provided for his family and was a good neighbor. He was a devout Catholic and sang in the choir in his younger years.
Albert joined the Air Force at age 23 and served for three years flying overseas missions. He also had land based assignments, and finished at a Captain. From there he moved in to electrical engineering for Teletype Corporation, where he worked on Bell Systems. After Teletype he worked for Lucent then Memorex Telex, where he helped develop 911 systems.
Al loved to garden and many friends and neighbors enjoyed his tomatoes. He was also known for the most red cana lilies in the neighborhood. He enjoyed golf, tennis, and square dancing with his wife Joanna.
These past few years had become challenging for him especially after Joanna’s passing in 2024.
You will be missed Dad. Say hi to Mom. Auf Wiedersehen!
