Agnes Tropp

Agnes M. Tropp, of Berwyn, age 78 entered into eternal peace on Friday, February 23, 2024 after a sudden illness. Lovingly known as “Auntie”. Long time loving partner of the late Charles Shriner; beloved daughter of the late Conrad and Harriet Tropp nee Sakowicz; loving sister of the late Paul Tropp; beloved sister-in-law to Joyce; cherished aunt to Kimberly Van Stockum, Lisa (Mark) Pienkowski, Paula (Bill) Bush, and Christine (Randy) Elliott; great aunt to Derrick, Kaitlyn (Tony), Taylor Marie (Mitch), Matthew, Mackenzie, Jacob, Kaya, Austyn, Holly, Ian, Sarah, and Lizzie. Agnes worked for Unity Manufacturing in Chicago for over 50 years. She loved elephants, watching movies especially John Wayne, country music, and traveling. Agnes loved the color purple and the family asked in her honor to come to the services wearing purple if possible. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Cumberland Chapels at 8300 W. Lawrence Ave Norridge, IL 60706. Interment to follow at St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery.
