A.G. Houston, age 97, passed away on March 25, 2017. A.G. was the beloved husband of The Late Hallie Gwinell Bailey and the late Verline Green; loving father of Ella Sue (Steven) Jacob, Ronnie A. Sr. (Marilyn) and Dennis Bailey (Kay) Houston; cherished grandfather of Timothy (Patricia) Craddock, Cynthia (Jeff) Amedeo, Ronnie Jr. (Kim) Houston, Tamara (Gus) Costopoulos, Dean (Tina) Houston, Amanda (Juan) Jasso, Jeffrey (Kristen) and the late Brian Thomas Houston; great grandfather of 12 and great great grandfather of 1. A.G. was preceded in death by 5 siblings and was a fond uncle of many. He was a retired Boilermaker with Local #1. A.G. was a born again believer and a member of Jordan Baptist Church in Marquette Park, IL, and he had also been a deacon at many of the churches that he belonged to throughout his life. In lieu of flowers, donations to a church or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Visitation will be on Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL.
