Afroviti Guta

Afroviti Guta, age 91, a resident of Naperville, IL passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017. She was born on July 2, 1926 in Sinice of Korce, Albania. Afroviti was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Sotir Guta. She is survived by her loving children, Nikollaq (Adelina) Guta of Naperville, IL, Urani (Andon) Shamata of North Aurora, IL, and Vanthi (Gjergji) Qafko of Mississagua, Canada; her cherished grandchildren, Sotiraq Guta, Afroviti (Ergys) Jakova, Kostaq (Vilma) Shamata, Teris (Kadime) Shamata, Anxhela (Thoma) Mujo, and Valentina (Tarek) Ayyad; cherished great-grandmother to Erik Jakova, Aiden Shamata, Katherine Mujo, Daniel Mujo and Sophia Ayyad. Visitation Tuesday, December 19, 2017, 3:00-9:00 P.M. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Avenue, Norridge, IL 60706. Additional visitation Wednesday, December 20 9:00-11:00 AM at St. Nicholas Albanian Orthodox Church, 2701 N. Narragansett Ave, Chicago, IL 60639. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 20, 11:00 A.M. in the church with Rev. Kostandin Tuda officiating. Interment will follow funeral service at Naperville Cemetery in Naperville, Illinois.
