Obituary for Ronald T. Tabert

Ronald T. "Ron" Tabert passed away on February 5th. Ron was born on March 4, 1933, in Chicago, to Harriet, nee Populorum, and Henry Tabert, and they preceded him in death. Ron was the loving brother of the late Lois Grosardt; beloved uncle of Louis (Beverly) Doll of Cincinnati, OH, Michael (Bonita) Doll of Jacksonville, FL, Robert (Ellen) Doll of Erlanger, KY and Nancy (Dr. Steven Kaplan) Doll of Portland, OR. Ron is also survived by many nieces, nephews, close friends and his extended family from Our Lady, Mother of the Church Parish. Ron was employed at the First National Bank of Chicago (Now J.P. Morgan/Chase) for 35 years, and he served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955. In lieu of flowers, donations to: Rainbow Hospice and Palliative Care 1550 Bishop Ct. Ste #145, Mt. Prospect, IL 60056 would be appreciated. Visitation Friday, February 9th, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home, and will then proceed to Our Lady, Mother of the Church for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Mausoleum.
